Word for the day…a one horse open sleigh

Dashing through the snow,
in a pung……

just doesn’t sound as catchy, does it?

pung (noun)
A low, one-horse box sleigh; a sleigh with a boxlike body.

Used in 1815–25, an Americanism; short for tom-pung, from the same Algonquian etymon as toboggan, originated chiefly in Eastern Canada and New England
