Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented

Primary use: Personal

With this appointment book I don’t need to wonder when an important date is coming up, whether it’s a business appointment, radio interview or a family birthday, I never forget a date! Also, it keeps me from having to collect business cards, because they just get lost along the way. I simply jot down any information I need to remember and it’s all in one place. My husband and I have used them for years.

My furfamily…a septolet for you!

My Furfamily…

My dog
and cats
are family.

People balk
when told,
but animals never
lie.

A Septolet is a poem consisting of seven lines containing fourteen words with a break in between the two parts. Both parts must deal with the same thought and create a picture.

Believe It

For those of you who don’t believe,
I shed a silent tear.
But if you will allow me,
I’ll share the joy this time of year.

I rise to a beautiful morn,
the creatures are astir.
I squint into a dazzling sun,
in awe at the sweet, soft murmur.

The people seem slightly happier,
even though, they still toil.
For some, our eyes have witnessed war,
right here on our home soil.

Especially for this reprieve,
I recognize the birth.
For those of you safe in your home,
Believe it, there is peace on Earth.
