If you’re in the Pasadena area on Sat 16-Sun 17, the 20th annual Chalk Art Festival will be held in the common areas of the Pasadena Paseo Mall from 10am to 7pm. If you’ve never been to a chalk festival, you’ll see artists from around the Southland drawing amazingly lifelike chalk renderings on the sidewalks. It takes them 2 days to complete because most of the art is gargantuan, and so real you feel like you could walk right into them! The event is free, and there will be a band playing, with plenty of food vendors to fill your tummy while you feed your creative mind.
