There is a certain terminology that is particular to each profession and ours in no different. Here are two terms that seem to be easily confused: Publisher vs. publicist.
A publisher may do some or all of these tasks: edit the manuscript, help design the book cover, copyediting, production (find the client a company to print the book), distribution, marketing and promotion.
