Step on a crack….


The superstition1word superstition popped into my head earlier this week (and, no, it has NOTHING to do with the elections. Evil grin.) Some words I choose to write about because they have an interesting meaning, some because I’ve no idea what they mean and want to know, and some because they simply come to mind!

Here is the skinny on “superstition”: a noun

superstition21. a belief or notion, not based on reason or knowledge, in or of the ominous significance of a particular thing, circumstance, occurrence, or proceeding.

3. a custom or act based on such a belief.

5. any blindly accepted belief or notion.
